Ordovician in Estonia
The Ordovician Period (ca 487-443 million years ago) is represented in Estonia by siliciclastic and carbonate sedimentary rocks reaching nearly 200 m in thickness. They are present almost across the country, but their outcrop area is only in northern Estonia.
